Back to Charlotte...

So, yeah. You heard it right. Back to Charlotte. Not because I'm leaving or anything.

We took Rachel to college. Belmont Abbey College, to be exact.

It was a six/seven hour drive, so it was not THAT bad.

We stopped at a Redbox, my Brookie chose 3 movies. Weird ones =))

Divergent(seen it 100 times), I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry(two straight guys getting married)

 and Need for Speed(which we did not watch at the end). We put them in on the laptop, and TA-DAH!

Arrived to TX,Dallas! :D

Hey guys! Well this is so hard.. yesterday I started my journey from Budapest.. It was extreamly hard to say goodbye to Mom,Dad, my little sister and my love! Before the departure I had a little bit of trouble with my baggage:D Instead of 23 kg it was 33 kg:)))) well i was shocked.. I didn't want to pay 100€ so I started unpacking:))) It was really stressful but also funny:p after my baggage was ready and my check in was done , the hardest part was next..to say goodbye! I was crying nonstop... my family and my love were crying ... while standing in the line I was alway searching their faces... it was so so so hard to let them go... I am still crying when I think of them.. I hope that soon it will be better!My flight was alright but so long...

I made a new friend! Lilla,who is from Budapest and she also came to Dallas for a year as an exchange student! She was really nice , and I felt much better that I wasn't all alone and we could help eachother :)

My new "family" is really nice! Their home is beautiful!! My room is so awesome!!

 Today we might go shopping or something like that and later me and Sebastian ( my "brother" from Switzerland) will go to the school because he has tennis training and I'll go with him:D Monday will be our first schoolday! So I'll write soon about it:D

Surprise!

Hey guys! Yesterday my two best friends, Tekla&Anett, and my love, made me an awesome goodbye-party:D I'm really excited!! Just 2 days to go! 

The girls made me a beautiful and really tasty cake !! I was almost crying a hundred times but I tried my best not to.. I will really miss them!!

Waiting...

Very very soon (20th of August) I will arrive to the United States to start my school year as an exchange student!Well, I am so excited about my journey.. I think that everyone would be.

At first, I heard about this exchange program from my babygirl R.  My first thought was “hey why not?! it will be awesome!:D” .. but now my departure is so close and it started to become aware and this scares me.It’s hard because I can’t talk about this to anyone because they are like:” you’re so lucky!” and “I wish i could go” .. well yes, but it’s a whole year far away from my family,friends and my love.Okay, I can talk to them on Skype and Facebook, but it’s not the same.. I can’t hug them if I’m alone,or just if I’m homesick.I am also afraid of my flight(I know I shouldn’t, and I flew many times already). I’m excited about my new family too,they are really nice but it will be strange anyway.And most of all I worry about my new school.When I first talked to this exchange program’s delegate I told him I want to attend a art school,because I am a dancer for 14 years now, and i want to develop my skills in the USA.At first I’ve got an awesome school with really cool dance course,but then my school has changed to another.They said it is bigger and better but I haven’t see anything of their dance team yet..I hope everything will be alright.

Road To The Sunshine State

Well guys, I gotta tell you, my journey to FL, wasn't the funniest.

 I had to change my flight twice!

 Okay, we knew that from the start, but still, I was a bit nervous about it.

Reading and waiting for the plane in Charlotte.

And then what happened? My last flight, from Charlotte, NC to Jacksonville got canceled.

FLIGHT CANCELED!



And I was like 'What?'

Omg! They kept delaying it, and then, at 10.30 PM, Oops, sorry guys. 

So I spent my first night in the USA at the airport, sleeping on a COT (seriously).

This is where we slept!

Awesome, I can recommend it to everyone. 

Just kidding, don't even think about trying it, my calves were hurting, like... So, yeah. 

We (2 American, 1 British kid) got up around 5 AM, 

and waited for the plane(morning flight) to depart at 7.50.

How my dear Host Family was waiting for me.

Luckily, when I got to Jacksonville, my host family was waiting for me, and I can't even describe the RELIEF I felt, when I saw them. 

Geez... So that's it. 

Everything is just great.

R (the blondie) : 
flying on the 6th of August to St.Augustine,FL.
going to private school, Saint Joseph Academy.
will live with a host family(with 2 daughters, 3 horses, 2 dogs)

B (the brownie):
flying on the 20th of August to Dallas,TX.
going to public school, Richland High School .
will live with a host family(with 2 daughters and 1 son not living at home, 2 dogs, 2 cats , and one exchange partner Sebastian from Switzerland)
